In order to alleviate operator integration issues, Jamie Hart has joined a tech consultancy.

A new gaming business has been launched by Conquer Technology to assume operator risks associated with small-scale technological innovation.

 Jamie Hart, a seasoned veteran of the UK sector and former director of products at UK Tote, has taken up the position of head of gaming at a UK technology consultant with the goal of streamlining operators' integration efforts.

 The decision was driven by a desire to assist operators in addressing their most pressing technology and integration issues through agile and inventive means, rather than the cumbersome procedures that are frequently employed, according to Hart, who has experience as both an executive director at Tabcorp and director of innovation at William Hill.   

 According to him, operators often find themselves with "not much room to solve other technical problems" because most technical decisions are driven by regulatory changes. 

 "Our number one target will be integration, which is typically the biggest issue for betting companies," Hart noted.  

 According to their website, Conquer Technology is a full-service development firm that focusses on finding excellent solutions for client problems.  

 Between 2008 to 2016, Hart worked at William Hill, where he met David Carter, chief commercial officer of Conquer Technology, during the company's participation in an innovation competition.  

 Technical innovation on a smaller scale is the emphasis of Conquer Technology.  In order to facilitate the adoption of novel or difficult technology by operators, Hart announced that the company would assume the risks connected with small-scale innovation.  

 According to Hart, Conquer Technology will be looking to assist businesses with innovation in a number of domains, such as legislation, Know Your Customer, and the creation of new betting products and sorts of bets.  

 It is challenging for operators to get the bandwidth necessary to try out new ideas and see what works.  "Doing those with us instead of in-house might be more efficient and cost-effective," Hart remarked.  

 It would appear that there are far more individuals participating in projects today than there were twenty years ago, at least in terms of operators.  "Our goal is to offer a fresh approach to outsourcing," he stated.

 While the Tote had been his passion project, Hart stated in his move that he hoped to tackle other technical problems in the future. 

 His conclusion was that the Tote's product was not easy to innovate, and that he wants to do and change a lot more in the gaming industry.
